I woke up today with one info the most vivid dreams I have ever experienced. I had dreamed that I was in a very large and beautiful cathedral during mass, and was in line for communion. When I was up, I saw the priest of my parish and he smiled at me. Then I held my hands up for the Eucharist, but he said that he was sorry but couldn’t give me the Eucharist. I was confused, so I just went up for a blessing and continued walking. As I was walking back, I remember being overcome with sorrow, so much so that I was struggling to keep from crying. But then I started crying and thinking to myself “I’m sorry”, but I do not know for what. Then I woke up. Does anyone have any opinions on what this dream could mean if anything? I haven’t committed any mortal sins since I last went to confession, so I don’t know. I know dreams are usually just illogical and produced by our subconscious, but I have never had such a vivid dream before.
