Sorry if this is the wrong thread, but I’m new here so here we go: the first dream, I was a Hebrew in ancient times, in a village right by the sea. I was a member of a tribe, but I just knew, but people came and attacked, and everyone was freaking out, men on horses killing women and children, cutting people running just above the back of the foot so they couldn’t run. I was taken to a tent, and was told to be a priest, and while all of this was going on, a man was sacrificing things to god in it. Eventually, I ran into the Israeli desert trying to find people, while I found my real life friends under pinetrees, then the enemy leader came out of th ground and told me if I didn’t leave into the desert he would kill me, I did jumped through a floating window, then it ended. Eventually I read the hebrew bible and in exodus, those were the exact ways god described moses to sacrifice -and I knew before evn reading it.
Dream 2: my family was leaving to go on a spring break trip to Florida, but my family had to go to the barroom so me and my sister dropped my dad and my other sister off at a dirty gas station(my mother wasn’t in this) and me and my sister drove in a quarry, and ended up in Rome, where I died and was buried. Eventually I woke up I. The dream at age 67, wondering why I wasn’t in heaven, DRESSED IN ST PATRICKS EXACT CLOTHES! Wondering why I wasn’t I heaven. There’s one more so ill post that in a second please read it! Thanks!

And I the third and final dream, I was in Jerusalem, completely covered in snow, and all the old temples and religious sites were destroyed. I had to find someone , and she face booked me and I flew there every night, so I know it’s in modern times. There was also a look out point, the bar completely covered in ice, overlooking a forest with a river snaking through it. I need help with these! The first happened when I was interested in Judaism, and the last two ever sense I’ve started praying the rosary, I’m Roman Catholic by the way.

It would be a good idea to talk to a priest about this, especially if it is really concerning you that it is some sort of sign and not just a coincidence, God can speak to us in dreams, he spoke to Joseph in a dream if I recall.

how about that you are ‘reliving’ , actually, in all three curious dreams of struggles of Elijah, being mount carmel , the desert to which he runs/ remember he stays with a family, a man and her son/ the story of Elijah has an alter-then, the luminous mysteries has Jesus to wear brilliant clothing, and a visitor of Elijah…

a very good chronological order/ i can easily place myself in Elijah’s place…in that i sometimes email people-saying :" i am having a difficult time-like Elijah in the desert…"
interesting first dream-old testement verses a battle (you seem to be the protagonist); then, that alter…but the alter is really in the next one…
interesting second dream-i will interpolate, this is sandwiched between the first and second/
well, Elijah has faith-to challenge that rather odd god (small g=god) in competition to the real God; Elijah taunts by a bit of sarcasm, as one translation suggests/ "has your ‘god’ taken a bath room break/ the water burnt the alter…( a gas station has both gas and a bathroom)The Saint Patrick image is interesting (my last name is Patrick) i enjoy learning about saint Patrick-he has familiar green clothes-but i think he was thought to wear furs…in a train of thought-he is in the communion of saints/nevertheless, very curious; this is a stretch, but matches in a way, sort of? the third; in that, when Jesus was in the tomb, he visited the land of the dead, to release the old profits…hence, the english word ‘hell’ -perhaps, in the ground/in context-the land of the dead-and the rock quarry…to add interest, since saint Patrick is in the communion of saints; and you are wondering why-you were not in heaven; perhaps to a connection to when the Mass occurs-there is so to a gathering of the communion of saints…saints come to us in a way…
and interesting third dream-Jesus took three apostles on a high mountain…

Conclusion, well i am drawing from memory my little theology that i know-if there is no error there/ proceed with JOY brother…God Bless you this wonderful day!

I’m not sure about the first dream but it sounds like you are at a point in your life where you are considering new possibilities, change and a fresh start (Spring Break). A run-down gas station may represent efforts you have made to reinvigorate yourself that haven’t panned out as would be expected. The road trip may represent your direction in life and the feeling that you have run out of steam in your search for something. The quarry could mean that you are looking for insights or guidance and Rome may represent how the treasures of the Catholic faith provided you with spiritual sustenance. When you die in a dream it can mean some type of transformation or new start. Not sure what St. Patrick would represent but he was told in a dream to return to Ireland. When you wonder why you weren’t in heaven may reflect a feeling that things should be more final or settled but you find yourself still searching and asking questions.

And I the third and final dream, I was in Jerusalem, completely covered in snow, and all the old temples and religious sites were destroyed. I had to find someone , and she face booked me and I flew there every night, so I know it’s in modern times. Being on a look out point suggests that you are evaluating your life objectively. Snow could be undiscovered talents within yourself. A bar represents desire to be emotionally/ socially connected, perhaps you don’t enjoy your social connections as much as you used to. Destroyed temples may indicate that the things you used to find inspiration in, no longer inspire you. Jerusalem may mean you are looking for a type of “heaven on earth” or you have visions/dreams that you want to see realized. Basically, it sounds like you are going through some type of change and you are wondering what the next step may be to get to where you want to be and are looking for spiritual nourishment. Maybe you are looking to integrate what you learned from your interest in Judaism with your current faith life?

Try to talk with a priest about this. But be careful to who you talk to about this (someone who is not a priest). There are people out there who claim they can “read” dreams but it is just work of the occult. Another thing, these dreams could just be what is in your mind without knowing it. It might be from God or it might be from your conscience. And just remember what it is stated in the Book of Wisdom in the Bible, that dreams are like wind, they come and go.
