Need help interpreting this dream

Well… a few years ago I had a dream that I was at school, in our main hallway, and I seen in front of me, what looked like the Virgin of Guadalupe in front of me, I walked toward the image, but she kept getting farther and farther away, even as I was in a full blown sprint. I woke up before I ever reached her. What say you all?
 
If I were to guess, I would say that the fact that you woke up before reaching her, then you are being warned that time is running out. If you are getting farther and farther away as you think you are running towards her with a sprint, then you should think again.

I once had a dream where I was running around a circular path outside a circular stone wall that contained a lake of fire. No matter where I ran on the circular path there was this one other path that followed me and shot off tangentially into space with an imposing bright white figure at the end of the path. I took the imposing figure to be an angel. I knew that I could not run on that path forever with the only other options being jumping the wall into the lake of fire or to take the narrow path (off into space) to the white figure. I think that dream was telling me to decide and quit running in circles.

What were your feelings in this drea,. It sounds as though she was leading you, inspiring you.

Well there’s that. Dreams sometimes do have meanings, though, and not necessarily from supernatural origins. They may be expressions of subconscious thoughts or notions in the background that need to surface to the foreground when sleeping. I think the op’s and my dream were basically our conscience at work.
