Need help showing people that BVI didn't cover anything up

Apparently this new “documentary” makes claims that there is proof that our Holy Father helped covered up some abuse cases.

Can anyone help me out and point me to some evidence that this is not true. Kind of urgent now; as the U.S. media is pushing this “documentary” all over the place, so people are asking me about it.

I dont know if this is the same thing, But, someone told me today that their catholic church in CA has a new priest that was accused of sexual molestation and instead of firing him(or whatever the CC does) they reassigned him to another Parish to a different part of the state. She is now considering going to the Lutheran church because she is so disgusted at this. Probably because it was her parish it happened to.

I think what happens is people talk first and many never get around to thinking. The conversations between any person and a priest is known in legal terms as “privileged” Nothing, absolutely nothing spoken is allowed to be used against the person in a court of law. In fact if a District Attorney were to get such information and attempt to use it the DA would be slapped by every Judge he appeared before. However the legal privilege is mild compared to the standards of the Priest. The Priest is to remain silent on the matter forever. So when Priest X confessed to these sins what is the other Priest to do? What is the other Priest allowed to do? I think you find the Church was tested by whether confessions were really confessions. So how do you reassign a Priest to an adult seminar for life until he confesses to a Bishop? The Bishop would be capable of making such a transfer. But if you were the Priest would you break the seal of confession or would you be all over Priest X to go to the Bishop?
