May I pray the Our Lady Undoer of Knots novena for nine hours with it broken into two days? Thank you.

Forgive me, but I can’t find how to edit my post…

Is it permissible to say the Our Lady Undoer of Knots novena by praying it consecutively once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the evening, until all nine meditations are prayed?

Also, regarding the correct way to pray the novena: it states that you are to pray the first three decades of the rosary, but it does not say if you are to still pray the introductory prayers of the rosary (Apostles Creed, Our Father, 3 Hail Marys, Glory Be) and later in the novena, when It instructs to pray the final two decades of the rosary, it does not say if you should then pray the end prayers of the rosary, it just says to pray the closing prayer of the novena.

Thank you!

I pray it over nine days.
From EWTN:

*A novena is a nine-day period of private or public prayer to obtain special graces, to implore special favors, or to make special petitions. (Novena is derived from the Latin “novem”, meaning nine.) As the definition suggests, the novena has always had more of a sense of urgency and neediness.
*

Having noted that, there are novenas that may be prayed 9 consecutive hours, for example, the Infant of Prague “emergency” novena…but since novenas are a private devotion, for the most part. you may pray them as you wish.

I would stick to the 9 days. It allows more time fro reflection and inspiration. That’s just my personal opinion.
God bless.
