🤷 So my family of 5 is being baptized on Saturday and confirmed on Sunday… In choosing Patron Saints I didn’t realize that most of ours has like 10-16 options… Like St. Margaret, St. Agnes, St. Catherine… In using these names, must we include the whole thing “St. Margaret of Corona” for example or can we just use the shortened version for all of the them such as just using “St. Margaret”?

Congratulations!!!
Im pretty sure you don’t need to specify which St. Margaret or which St.Agnes etc. God and the Saints know who you mean.

Congratulations!! Just the saint’s name is okay. For example: St Therese of Avila. “Therese” works just fine.

Unless, of course, one prefers the Spanish form, Teresa, not to be confused with St. Therese of Lisieux and not to confuse her with St. Teresa of Jesus. 😉

you can also choose any form of a name, Kate, Kathy, Cat for Catherine, and choose any of several St. Catherines for your patron. Liz, Lizzie, Betty, Lizbet, Beth etc. for any of several St. Elizabeths. you can combine two saints into one name Marianne, or use the feminine form of a male saint, Juanita, Caroline etc.
