As a recent new-comer to Traditional Catholicism, I find myself wondering the same thing.
I have since taken up wearing the mantilla for Mass (which my daughter likes to drape over her head when I am holding her)
I have also taken up the scapular and wearing a Miraculous Medal.
I have also started to wear skirts and dresses more, to the point where I am in them 75% of the time.

Give yourself time and pray. You will feel God telling you where to go.

Thank you so much for all your wonderful replies. You’ve given me a lot to think about, especially Annie – you reminded me that I am to want to please God and not people. And the ways that everyone suggested would accomplish just that. I wear the brown scapular, although mine broke the other day. I just need to get another one. I also want my husband and myself to enthrone the Sacred Heart in our home. We have a beautiful picture my grandmother left me.

You were all so kind. I truly appreciate it. And I’m thankful for the male responses too.

I didn’t mean to suggest that Catholic women were solely defined by their children. It has always seemed to me that the Church has expected women to become mothers. It is the primary reason I left – I was single at the time and could not find anything in the church that spoke to my life. Of course I wasn’t converted at the time either. I think that would have probably made all the difference. But nevertheless, it is something I have come up against.

P.S. I also didn’t mean to suggest that nuns should go back and read Galatians.

What does OP mean?
