Hi all . I need your help in praying for a couple of my friends who’s marriage may break up. Your prayers for them would be deeply appreciated! The husband has quit the counseling and he’s convinced it won’t work out. They’ve been married for 16 years, and up until now they seemed happy. He’s a good guy and she’s a nice woman. Anyway , it breaks my heart to ask prayers for this but it’s what we Catholic Christians do when times get rough. Anyway, she’s convinced that if he consents to going on this upcoming Retreat "the Retrouville weekend this next weekend march 14-16 ( the Catholic Marriage Retreat renew- and hopefully this will turn him away from divorce program.) Anyway, I’m protecting their anonymity …God bless you and thank you for all the prayers I know God will offer for these two 🙂

Praying for your friends right now…

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Thank you , so much! I’ll let you know the outcome! We still have about 5 days until this Retreat, but the prayer for now has to be to get him to want to go to it. Anyway , “all things are possible with God”. :signofcross:

Praying for this couple and for their relationship and marriage and that they will both get off to the retreat and that it will richly bless them…

Thanks all for the prayers! He didn’t consent to going though, but I’m still praying for them to work things out. They are both old friends and have two teenage girls. It just doesn’t make sense how they aren’t happy. The husband though is fighting it every step of the way. God will bless their marriage 🙂 Anyway, there’s the update…keep praying and much appreciation to all of you 👍

I offer my prayers to God for this couple and their family Ferdy. May He restore their faith and devotion to this union that He blessed! May He guide them in their daily life, and grant them forgiveness and patience to overcome this trial they face.

We beseech You, O Lord,
visit this home,
and drive far from it all the snares of the enemy;
let Your holy angels dwell therein
so as to preserve them in peace;
and let Your blessing be always upon them.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

My friend didn’t go to his retreat with his wife…although, I think the prayers have weakened his spirit but I haven’t seen him since more than a month ago. I saw his wife at a party. She was about to cry. I told her that to keep praying the Rosary, as our Mother won’t let us down. Keep her in your prayers, as I know she loves her husband very much. I’ll give you an update, soon as I know what’s up. Thank you kindly for all the prayers , my friends. God bless you all! 🙂
