I left the Church when I was 13. I spent 27 years in Evangelical churches until I finally became disallusioned. Now I have been in the Catholic Church again for ten years. I am married to an Evangelical. Questions from the Bible keep popping up and I go back and forth between the two faiths. I need to settle down one way or the other. Please pray for me that God will show me the right way. Thank you!

Our Father, which art in Heaven
Hollowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven

Give us this day, our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us

Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil

Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace
The Lord is with thee
Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus

Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our deaths

Amen

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World without end

Amen

Thank you all for your kind prayers!
I left the Church because I was bored with going to Mass (very juvenial!). Soon after I was witnessed to by some born-again Christians. It all sounded so easy. I got caught up in it and made friends. It was very cult-like. Whenever I tried to leave they would barrage me with phone calls and visits until I relented and came back to their “fellowship”.

Many of us need stronger Faith and better understanding. 🙂

Dear Jesus, you promised that you would always be with your Church, and you prayed that your followers would be One. I pray that you guide PaxLily ever deeper into your Church and deepen her trust and faith, and that you guide her to understanding of any apparent problems she may perceive or which are presented to her.

Hail Mary,…
Out Father,…

What disillusioned you?
Sorry I thought you meant what disallusioned me about the Catholic
church…
I saw so many different churches teaching different things. I knew someone had to be right and the others wrong. I felt God leading me to the Catholic Church.

I am a cradle catholic who has seen some wonderful things happen in the church over the years. There is much more groups in the church than I ever imagined. You just need to find the right place for you to use your talents and make good friends. When it comes to the teaching of the faith, there is no other teaching authority than the one that Jesus created. I would not go outside of the Church.

I am praying for you …

Thank you for your comments and prayer. I really do appreciate both!
