Prayer for Peace of Mind

Christ said to His loved ones: I am with You,
fear not, be not anxious.

May I, then, be confident that in the trials and
crosses of my life that You, O Lord, will be my
constant companion.

Whenever I cannot stand, You will carry me
lovingly in Your arms. May I have no fear of
what may happen tomorrow.

For the same Eternal Father Who cares for
me today will take care of me tomorrow and
every day of my life.

You, O Lord, will shield me from suffering or
give me strength to bear it patiently. May I be
at peace and put aside all useless thoughts,
anxieties, and worries. Amen.

O Mother of Perpectual Help, grant that I may ever invoke Thy most powerful name, which is the safeguard of the living and the salvation of the dying. O purest Mary, O Sweetest Mary, let thy name henceforth be ever on my lips. You are in my prayers. Praying all goes well and that God keeps you safe. Asking our Lord to cover you with his peace, goodness, healing, protection and restoration.

O Holy Virgin, in the midst of all your glory, we ask you not to forget the sorrows of this world. Cast a look of pity upon all who struggle against life’s difficulties, and who cease not to feel all its bitterness.

Have pity on all who have been separated from those they love. Have pity on the lonely and friendless. Pardon the weakness of our faith. Have pity on those whom we love.

O Holy Mother, show a mother’s compassion toward the sorrowful and those who tremble under life’s afflictions. Give them hope and peace.

Today, when I visited the oncologist, I was completely at peace. He told me he wasn’t overly concerned. He’s going to give me followup tests. I’m very relieved.
