I have failed again with the sin of adultery and I find it very hard to stop. I need your prayers and advice. I feel so disgusted in my heart and soul. I want to stop I just don’t know how. Please help and pray for me.

If it’s a particular person, don’t see them, don’t talk to them, don’t email them. If it’s a place or a habit like drinking, don’t do it. Just don’t. Put rubber band on your wrist and when you feel tempted you snap it and say “Stop!” )

Come on K of C! You don’t know how to stop? Sure you do - - don’t contact this person again. Don’t go to certain websites. Etc. Time to man up! You can do this - - imagine your guardian angel, your confirmation saint, etc all cheering for you and helping you!

You have to avoid the near occasion of sin - - I think this is key.

The Lord is working on your heart. He wants to help you. Just ask him sincerely and keep asking each time you feel tempted. Ask the Blessed Mother and St. Joseph too. Just say Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Help Me. Say Jesus’ name over and over when tempted. Say the prayer to St. Michael. You can do it.
 
Try fasting. Fasting has helped me overcome sexual temptations many times. I’m praying for you. May God be merciful to you and may He relieve you of those desires.
