Need Prayers for Courage

This is difficult to post but I need prayers badly. I have been working towards finally returning to Confession. It’s scheduled soon and I’m suddenly absolutely, hair-on-end terrified. So afraid, at this point I really think even dying and going to Hell sounds like a better alternative. I know this is not reasonable, and yes, I know, the priest has heard it all (maybe). Nevertheless, I am so scared my chest has been hurting all day and I can’t eat or sleep. I’ve never felt like this before. Please, please pray for me.

Lord, we praise you and thank you for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Grant @powerandglory the courage to confess his sins to the priest worryfree if it be Your Will. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Holy Spirit please be with this Your loved child.
Jesus You spoke of the prodigal son, and of how the father welcomed his sinful and neglected so with joy and love. Please remind this loved child of the depth of Your love and wholehearted forgiveness. Remind this dear person that the priest is their in Your name, in person of Christ
