Please pray for two of my friends. Dawn needs prayers
as she undergoes cancer treatment. Also, pray for her mother,
Linda, who needs comfort and strength.

Prayer for Those With Cancer

God of healing mercy, in Jesus Your Son You stretch out Your
hand in compassion, restoring the sinner, healing the sick, and
lifting up those bowed down. Embrace us now in Your loving care,
particularly those afflicted with cancer, for whom this intention is
offered. May You bring us all to health in soul and body, that with
joy and thanksgiving we may praise You for Your goodness, through
the same Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

A Prayer to Heal the Sick

God of all creation, You spoke a command and brought forth
light from darkness. Your Son Jesus cleansed the lepers,
opened the eyes of the blind, and caused the cripple to rise
and walk. Likewise, we beseech Him to heal Dawn and comfort
her dear mother Linda. We ask this through Our Lord, Jesus
Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one
God, forever and ever. Amen.

Loving God please bless Linda with courage and consolation as she supports her daughter Dawn through her illness. Please grant success to her treatment.
