The Protection Prayer:
Jesus, I come humbly before your Presence. I beg of you to please cover njlisa’s body, mind and soul with your Precious Blood and protect Her from all evil.
Hide Her from the enemy, hide Her from temptation and sin, hide her from all evil.
Keep njlisa safe in Your most Holy Wounds and the fire and light of Your Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Don’t let anything evil enter njlisa and don’t let anything evil come out of her.
Form a sphere of protection, surround her and seal her with Your Presence, the Presence of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the angels and the saints; so that you will always be in front of her, behind her, at the right, at the left, at the top, at the bottom, outside and inside of her all around her.

O loving messenger of the Incarnation, descend upon all those for whom I wish peace and happiness.

Spread your wings over the cradles of the new-born babes, O thou who didst announce the coming of the Infant Jesus.

Give to the young a lily petal from the virginal scepter in your hand.
Cause the Ave Maria to re-echo in all hearts that they may find grace and joy through Mary.

Finally, recall the sublime words spoken on the day of the Annunciation–“Nothing is impossible with God,” and repeat them in hours of trial–to all I love–that their confidence in Our Lord may be reanimated, when all human help fails.

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give Your angels and saints charge over those who sleep. Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest Your weary ones. Bless Your dying ones. Soothe Your suffering ones. Pity Your afflicted ones. Shield Your joyous ones, and all for Your love’s sake.

For Lisa’s heartbreaking difficulties:

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

in the midst of all your glory, we ask you not to forget the sorrows of this world.

Cast a look of pity upon all who struggle against life’s difficulties, and who cease not to feel all its bitterness. Have pity on all who have been separated from those they love.
Have pity on the lonely and friendless.
Pardon the weakness of our faith.
Have pity on those whom we love.

O Holy Mother,
show a mother’s compassion toward the sorrowful and those who tremble under life’s afflictions. Give them hope and peace.
