About 5 years ago, I had completely gotten away from church and really did my own thing. As a result I did something that I now regret. Since then, I’ve grown up a lot and my views have changed. I’m having trouble letting go of what I did. It seems like the more I pray about letting it go the more it weighs on my heart. I won’t go into details about what it was, but I’m also afraid that it would not allow me to become part of the Catholic Church when I start RCIA this year.

All you need is the sacrament of confession, and then you need not worry anymore about it. After absolution from God’s priest you feel totally cleansed, trust me. I am a convert myself.

Dear Lord,

Please give this person peace. Amen.

The only unforgivable sin is the one not Confessed.
I will pray for you.

the only unforgiveable sin is the turning away from Gods Forgiveness and Grace.

The more you think about your situation, the worse it will get. Stop delaying. Simply go to Confession at the earliest possible time. Tell the priest your problem. Walk out without sin or stress. It’s that easy. But if you keep stewing about what to do, or the “what ifs,” you will be indefinitely in limbo. Just do it.

Lord, Mama Mary please lead Iggy85 back to the path of righteousness. Give him the will to pursue your will.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Praying from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Lord, make us who are fed at the Eucharistic feast
have a full share in the gifts of the Paschal sacrifice.
– Christ, you are food and medicine for the soul, make us strong.

Nothing can separate you from the love of God. Trust in his Mercy.

I am praying for you …

“Eternal Father, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is love and mercy itself.” Amen.

The Lord bless you and keep you. Have no fear If the Holy Spirit is calling you home he will help make the path clear for you. Talk to a priest and tell him your concern. He can help put your mind at ease. Pray a few Hail Mary’s and ask the Holy Mother to help you. She will I promise.

For Amy and her daughter.

Our Father,
Who art in heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death. Amen

I will continue to pray for you.
