I have a chronically ill young child. Her disease is tortuous for her but also leaves scars on the rest of the family, namely her younger sister. Today I am asking for prayers that I submit to God’s will in dealing with our sick child, that I do so gracefully, and that our family emerges from this stronger. Our youngest child is a nervous wreck over all the turmoil caused by the illness. For her, I pray for peace.

I will keep all of you in my prayers as well.

Jesus in Your love, please give haling and peace to the members of this family. You love Your own Mother so much that though in extreme agony, You provided love, protection, and a home for her with John. In honor of this great love, please grant the prayers of this mother’s heart for her family, and especially her daughters.

Lord, please heal this child in accordance with your will. May your will be done in this family’s life with no obstacles to your holy will. Help Abedog13 to be abandoned to your merciful love full of confidence in your merciful love. May this sickness bring this family closer to you and to each other and deepen their faith. May all their trials make them grow in faith, hope and love. You give us trials for the good of our souls and for our spiritual growth. May we always be grateful for your goodness and providence. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer.
