Put it this way. There’s a certain individual to whom I am accountable. So far, I have totally botched up all my responsibilities. The result of this is that nobody wants to spend their time with me and I am feeling lonely and isolated. So I need prayers that I may have another oppurtunity to fulfill my obligations towards this person (which it is certainly within my capacity to do.) When I do that, everyone wants to spend their time with me, I can have plenty of friends and I will not be lonely anymore.

Over the next while, I am undertaking an assortment of tasks which are of long-term significance. Please pray that they are an easy success…!

Lord please help this person to do the right thing towards others, to fulfil responsibilities,
not because of the negative effects failure to do so has on self, ie, loneliness and disapproval,
but to do what is right because of charitable and moral reasons.
Help this person to become more respectful and generous to others and to You,
in fulfilling duties as well as possible in honour of You and in charity to others.
Lord please help our friend along this path, in fulfilment of Your command to love God above all and others as ourselves.

Heavenly Father,
in this person’s present need,
help him/her to believe that you are a wave
of his/her anxiety and will do what is best for him/her.
Give him/her the strength to trust you
and put the present and future in your hands.
Grant this through Christ, our Lord.
 
Praying that you get a second chance to make up for your mistake. May you take this time to get closer to your best friend in the world (Jesus) and, surrendered to His merciful love, may you place all of your trust in Him. Amen.
