Hi there,
I am writing a long treatise on Holy Communion and its proper reception. This is the first time I have written anything longer than 2000 words on any subject. I think I am doing well but given the importance of the topic in todays Church I want to humbly ask for some help.
Help and Proofreader
It is about half way finished and I have what I think is a full outline of the work. Out of five parts I have completed two. This is already over 5000 words and while my basic style is ok I feel I need someone to read and maybe make some suggestions, and perhaps even a better way of explaining something.
Some specific help
There is also something that I cannot find on the net.
Does anyone know when the purification of the canonical fingers of the Priest after the communion became part of the Mass. Someone has told me that it was in the Mass awhile before St Gregory the Great finalized the canon but it would be helpful if someone could provide something exact.
Criticism
The article does take the view that Faithful Catholics should work to phase out Communion in the Hand. However there are those who would disagree with that position and are spiritual and intelligent Catholics. I would be quite happy to give these people a finished article in pdf via e-mail to see if I have not answered something that is significant.
I wont be on for two or three days but a post here or a pm would be nice.
