Don’t mean to be lazy…About a month ago we had a massive computer crash. DH got it working again at the expense of our hard drive:eek: :tissues: :doh2: :crying: We lost so much…
including my collection of links to websites/ Vatican documents and the Pope’s and US Bishops words on liturgical music.

I’m expected be part of a ministry recruitment day at my church; mine being music at the children’s mass. I’d like to include a little history and some facts in my flyers (passed out at mass) and presentation. (at a table/ booth) after mass.

TIA

I will allow this discussion on the condition there be no arguing about what music is right/appropriate for the Mass. Thank you all.

Here are Magisterial documents from the past 100 or so years:
There have been a couple documents from the USCCB; “Music in Catholic Worship” (HTML, incomplete) was superseded by “Sing to the Lord” (PDF). However, neither of them has the force of law apart from where they quote documents which do have the force of law.
