Any recommendations on a good easy to read book on Church History to give a Protestant? One that explains the Early Church?? My dad said he’ll read one and also some Protestant friends.
Thanks

You may be asking a bit much. You are asking for an easy way to understand 2,000 years of church history. It will require more effort or determination than that.Any recommendations on a good easy to read book on Church History to give a Protestant? One that explains the Early Church?? Amen! That is an excellent book.Secondly, I would recommend “Triumph, The Power and the Glory of the Catholic Church,” by H.W. Crocker III. It is written by a convert from the Anglican faith, and is about 420 pages. But Mr. Crocker does an excellent job of covering 2,000 years of Church history identifying both the successes and the failures of certain people and events in that history.
Peace be with you!Title: History of the Christian Church
Author: Schaff, Philip (1819-1893)

this above book is online for free, it is protestant, but is fairly objective. Its strength is the use of primary documents.
