Hi Everyone, I would like some advice on this,
i have a friend, who is a absolute sweet heart, always ready to help someone, always there if you need a person to talk to. she has a boyfriend, who is away at the moment.they are engaged,
she needs to have someone around her all time and she usually meets one person…and goes all out where friendship is concerned, always calling them up n stuff, she met this guy recently, and she liked him a lot.she is very open about her feeling esp when they are related to love issues;) she told him that was attracted to him,but that she was in love with someone else. that guy took it well… and i felt he was ok about it…he didnt do stuff to draw her attention…he was cool about it. then she starts making passes at him… jabbing him and messing his hair, pulling his ear. giving him extra attentions…all the time saying that she is only being his friend. and that she loves him as a friend. she visits him at his place… goes out for dinner n coffee and stuff…which is all great except that she is back home very late. and apparently forgetting t make time to see some of her other friends.

it seems wierd, she has these tendencies when she meets someone she likes… n her boyfriedns is cool about it. he doesnt really say much. the problem is that this guy others friends are questioning her intentions. one of them actually said that she was having her cake and eating it too… his friends feel that she is falling for this guy and is covering it up saying that they are just friends. i have tried talking to her about it, but it hasnt made a difference, wht dou think i should do???🤷

I’d stay out of it. Her fiance knows about this and so does the guy she’s messing with. I don’t agree with her behavior at all, but I think all you can really do is learn from her mistakes and try to make sure you don’t make the same mistake. She doesn’t want your advice and it isn’t your responsiblity. Keep her in your prayers. 🙂

Samething I doing. 🍿

Encourage her boyfriend to end it with her, she’s obviously not ready for a committed relationship.

Stay out of it. And re-evaluate what kind of moral fiber you look for in your friends.

I couldn’t be friends with someone who would do this to her fiance. And who is so dishonest with HERSELF and everyone around her. http://bestsmileys.com/thumbs/4.gif
She is a nice a person… she is helpful and and she will be around when u need a shoulder to cry on… its just that sometimes…she behaves crazy…she love her boyfriend a lot, i am hoping that she sees wht she stands to loose if she continues with this.

Sorry, but we ARE what we DO. This is who she is. A nice person does not cheat on her fiance the moment he is out of sight.

And before you try to tell me I don’t know the situation… I was engaged to my DH for FOUR YEARS and one of them was spent 2500 miles away from him at a different college. I liked one of the RAs in my dorm… he was nice, a couple years older, cute, and fun to talk to. I felt a temptation developing. I thought about him a lot and caught myself flirting. So I started avoiding him (not hard as I was a freshman and he an upperclassman) and going out of my way to only say hi when I saw him and move on. I loved my then fiance and wanted to be married to him… so I honored that commitment and acted accordingly. THAT is what someone who loves and respects her fiance does.

Your concern is sweet, but MYOB. You don’t want to be the catalyst on this. You really don’t.
