Need some statue assistance

There are statues of Jesus and the Blessed mother in our parish that I usually pray in front of and I was wondering if I am allowed to put a rose by each statue, or is that wrong?

The rose should be in a vase - else as it wilts the petals and leaves could stain whatever surface they’re on.

But, it still might be best to check with the priest or sacristan in your parish. It could be something they do not want parishioners doing on their own; eg. if many started doing it, the area could start to look cluttered and unattractive.

I’m not sure 1ke, even thOugh I’ve been Catholic a few months there are thing I’m still getting used to lol…I have had this strong feeling to want to do this though.
