Need Teen book recommendation

Are there any books geared to young teens (my dd is 13) that discuss Catholic marriages and the sacramental aspect of being married in the Church. Unfortunately, even though my dh is Catholic and were were married in the church, he has left his faith and does not attend church with us. Her arguement is that it is better to marry a churchgoing nonCatholic Christian who at least leads a Christian life, than a Catholic in name only who doesn’t practice anything. On that I tend to agree with her. But I can’t make her see the value of choosing someone who is a strong practicing Catholic. She is years away from dating, but whenever she talks about qualities to look for in a future spouse, if I mention “being Catholic” she rolls her eyes.

She is committed to purity and living a Christ centered life, and we have books on those topics. But I need help in helping her understand the importance of finding a good Catholic boy

the best one i can give you is a catechism book called “This is the faith” it will tell you what you need to know, but i personally can’t say what will get threw to your daughter, because i don’t know her, but hopefully this will help you understand it better and be able to explain it to her better.

You might read Fulton Sheen’s “Three to Get Married”, then discuss it with her.

Putting skin on these ideas is the very best way to talk to teens.

Ask her, how would it feel if you were married to a man you love very much who is a non-Catholic Christian. You to go to Mass, every Sunday and Holy Day, that is about 60 times every year. Let’s say you get married at age 25 and you both live to be 85. So, 3,600 times you are going to go to Mass and recieve our Lord in the Holy Eucharist - the most special and precious thing you can do on this earth, and not one time are you going to be able stand or kneel there and recieve with your husband, never. That would be a sad thing. He will be at his church, you will be at Mass with the kids - does that seem like the best marriage there could be?
