NEEDED Lector's guide to biblical pronunciations,

i need Lector’s guide to biblical pronunciations updated by Joseph M. Staudacher or any other helpful one, it should have a a click to listen option to enable me hear it as it is supposed to pronounced. You understand what i mean, there are many words we just pronounce in our tongue because we do not know how it should be like names and places in the Bible.
 
What country are you in?
If you speak English, the usccb.org website has all the readings listed and there is a speaker icon you cn click to hear them read.
 
You can just google the word together with “pronunciation”. Example: Ephah pronunciation

You can also just google: bible pronunciation
 
I use the following app on my iPhone: Bibl. Pronunc.

This app has almost every name in the bible (unfortunately no Deuterocanonical books though), and when you select the word of your choice, you get an audio pronouncement for the word.

It’s great for name like ‘Artaxerxes’ and ‘Stachys’.

It’s a strange name for an app (due to it’s abbreviation), but search it in the App Store and you should find it.

I have it in English, but it is available in Spanish also.

This is important. On Holy Family Sunday, I kept cringing as the reader repeatedly said “hare” when reading “heir”, not realizing that the h is silent.
It also amazes me how many (not ESL) Catholics don’t know how to pronounce things like Ephesians or other books of the Bible.
 
Agreed. Someone should start a thread about mispronunciations at Mass.
Some are hilarious.

i do get it but you know that those pronunciation is American, although its help considering readings, but how about one that has to do with (name removed by moderator)uting words and listening to how it is pronounced for real. Eg. Typing Mesopotamia, pamphylia and deep greek names as such. Am a Lector and i do not like using any pronunciations for all those Greek words
 
No, those are the proper pronunciations. I have 4 years of Koine Greek. They are correct.

What are you asking?
Are you trying to insert the words into another language?
If so, you would do well to work with your Pastor.

OK, one final question: are you lectoring in English? Why would you chance the words?
