Hello everyone, it’s been so long since I seriously posted here. Last time was back in the Fall, when I was so touched by the Lord it was overwhelmingly heart warming. Then, as winter came, the *dark *months, doubt struck me harder than EVER! So many came, so many than I have ever expirianced before. It was like I never truly doubted until then. That, along with my severe OCD disorder drove me away. I still believed everything, but was not praticing. It was difficult, the feelings, I wept many times, often to God in the dark while taking a shower, lost almost all feeling, was crushed, didn’t care to exist, etc. What happened? What hit me? I couldn’t breathe, was so horrid! Yet I’m recently coming back. My faith is renewing, actually it started to renew when I began this book called “The Case for the Real Jesus” by Lee Strobel, simply amazing!! I need to see a priest, confess my sins, return to Mass, get past this darkness.
I know my problems are minor compared to so many other wonderful people out there who suffer much more than I. I feel like a child. But I’m begging for people to pray for me, to get me on my feet. When I fell away I missed God so much, felt crushed all the more, when I would read the Bible or a faith inspiring book, hearing the Word, my heart instantly felt “warm” and “happy,” like life pouring in, quenching a spiritual thirst. I need Him, I want Him and can’t stand my stupid actions or phsycotic mind and thoughts from my OCD. It’s hard but I believe He loves me. So I’ll never give up
