I don’t know who else to turn to… but I’ll just be up front. Im an opiate addict and i just want to be free. but i feel like I’m beyond redemption. I feel selfish for even asking for help… i just can’t seem to hear God anymore. that still small voice is muted… I want to quit and be free but i know thats so unrealistic at this point. I’ve hurt family, lost friends, and feel like I’ve lost God’s mercy. every day i wake up feeling physically horrible and spiritually dead. but i want to see God or hear Him… i know he exists i don’t need a sign. I just want to be in his direct presence even for a second. Please pray for a miracle

May God set your feet upon firm ground, and may you know His presence with you always.
I’m saying prayers for you.

Please don’t give up hope, God will help you recover and He will sustain you throughout it all. Please seek help as a first step while many people pray for you to be courageous and strong. This is not impossible.

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

I hope if you haven’t tried rehab you will do so now, and if you already have you will try again. There is help available to addicts. Avail yourself to that. God is the God of all hope and with God all things are possible.

God Bless,
Mary.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength & fortitude to overcome your temptations.

Take comfort in trust in the fact that God will, for as long as you live, *desire *to forgive you in the Holy Sacrament of Penance.

May God Grant you Peace

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

Jesus, I trust in You!

Jesus, I trust in You!

Jesus, I trust in You!

Amen.

I suffered with addiction for many years so I understand just how you’re feeling. I know how helpless and hopeless you feel. When everyone else has turned their back on you always know that our Lord will NEVER give up on you. He loves you and is ready to help when you set your mind to be clean. You must want it like nothing else. It is possible for you to completely turn your life around and change. You can earn back the trust of your family and friends. You are not hopeless.

Please consider going to rehab. Getting clean and sober is hard and it takes a lot of work on your part. It can be done…I’m living proof. Give it to God and do your work.

I will pray for you.

God please help Philly…help him feel your presence.

if I may ask…do you pray?..the reason I ask is because when i’m feeling like i’m the only one with no one to turn to…I pray and today I found this website that prays the rosary (it’s so simple and helpful). I prayed it and that’s how I felt his presence…

I hope this helps

God Bless You

Prayers for the Addicted

God of mercy, we bless you in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, who ministered to all who came to Him. Give your strength to Philly, who is bound by the chains of addiction. Enfold him/her in your love and restore him/her to freedom through your grace.

Lord, look with compassion on all those who have lost their health and have broken relationships because of their attachment to the object of their addiction. Restore to them the assurance of your unfailing mercy, and strengthen them in the work of recovery. To those who care for them, grant patient understanding and a love that perseveres.

Lord, in your servant, Venerable Matt Talbot you have given us a wonderful example of triumph over addiction, of devotion to duty, and of lifelong reverence of the Holy Sacrament. May his life of prayer and penance give Philly courage to take up his/her cross and follow in the footsteps of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Father, we ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

I pray that you do not lose hope. That you will be firm in your decision to end your addiction and you will take the necessary steps to actively get the help that you need to end your addiction. I pray this prayer to Jesus, our Lord. Amen.

Friend, today is the Feast of St. Maximilian Kolbe. He is the Patron Saint of addiction. I will say a prayer for you and ask for his intercession on your behalf. Please seek help and support. You are absolutely worth helping. Peace.

O Lord Jesus Christ, who said, “greater love than this no man has that a man lay down his life for his friends,” through the intercession of St. Maximilian Kolbe whose life illustrated such love, we beseech you to grant us our petitions that Philly finds the support and help he needs and deserves.

Through the Militia Immaculata movement, which Maximilian founded, he spread a fervent devotion to Our Lady throughout the world. He gave up his life for a total stranger and loved his persecutors, giving us an example of unselfish love for all men - a love that was inspired by true devotion to Mary.

Grant, O Lord Jesus, that we too may give ourselves entirely without reserve to the love and service of our Heavenly Queen in order to better love and serve our fellowman in imitation of your humble servant, Maximilian. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of Grace…

Glory be to the Father…
