My nephew is off the transplant list again because he had a blood infection. He’s in the hospital with no visitors allowed because of the pandemic. 😞

I am sorry to hear this. It is disappointing, but all things will unfold in God’s time.

look kindly upon us, and increase your mercy in us,
that in difficult moments, we might not despair nor become despondent,
but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,
which is love and Mercy itself.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from the darkness. I ask you now to send forth
your miracle-working power to heal Andrew.

You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk. You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from the dead. I ask you to send forth Your healing power into his body and give him the strength to fight this illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Holy Saint Joan, compassionate to the sick and wounded, who, while on earth, nursed so many back to health, hear me.

You who wished to see no one injured or in discomfort, pray for Andrew and guide him through this difficult time. Daughter of God, wounded many times in battle, I petition you for healing of body, mind, soul, and spirit, so that he may be better able to serve God in whatever capacity He wishes. Intercede for him please. Help him to remain strong and be healed physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Dear Lord be Andrew’s protector and defender in this time of trouble. Surround him with the Holy Angels, so that he may emerge from every danger in the fullness of health and well being. Guide his life journey, so they will always walk safely together with you, in God’s protection and friendship.

Andrew’s infection is gone and he’s back home. In a couple of weeks he’ll be back on the transplant list. 🙏
