be real careful of this short series about a pair of homosexual young men. The first episode is pornographic.
I watched the series and it was odd.
SPOILER
The series depicts the homosexual main character as in a social box: he avoids people, but is starving for friends and social interaction. In a later episode, he is (nude) in a real box ( traveler’s trunk ) and he can’t get out. And, it seems that his mother had something to do with putting him in that physical box, with the suggestion that she was probably responsible for putting him in the social box, as well. Well, he dies there.
So, what? The four-part series strongly hints at the desperation of being homosexual (with no appeal to salvation anywhere, even in Christ ), with all of its isolation.
