I don’t think that you sinned by leaving,
but I also think that it’s kind of wonderful to just stay there and keep Jesus company when He’s alone
I know that He’s everywhere and not really alone, but He’s present in a special way in the Blessed Sacrament and He is so happy when we visit. But I’m sure He understands that you were thinking about safety too.
I’ve never been in this situation, but there have been times when it was just me and another person and I sort of wondered if they would leave and what I’d do then…
