Keeping my eye and ear on Mount Carmel and the secretary received a fax with their upcoming courses for the parish bulletin. Here is the next whopper:

I am keeping a whole binder of all of this nonsense. I told my priest/spiritual director that if the Bishop does not do anything, I will write to the nuncio. He is in British Columbia (my priest) and told me not to do anything until he gets back. Of course I would not do anything without his permission anyway!
Bijan is coming back in September so he can be ‘discerned’…methinks this will be a long protracted battle!:crying:

It is so sad that the Carmelite Spiritual Center allows speakers that have nothing to do with Christ. They need a severe warning for this blatant nonsense.

If I remember right, that’s the name of a family of Hobbits who lived in the Shire of Middle Earth during the Third Age. The good professor J.R.R. Tolkien, an orthodox practicing Catholic as well as the author of “Lord of the Rings,” would not be pleased, were he alive today.
Here’s hoping and praying that disciplinary action will be taken regarding the New Age nonsense at the Carmelite Spiritual Center.
