My parish is having a Fr. Britto M. Berchmans come give a Lenten retreat. Some of the things on the flyer come across as New Age. Does anyone have any familiarity with with priest? A Google search didn’t come back with much. He does appear to be mentioned in some New Age forums and Meetups.

Nothing he said is new age.

Did you click any of the links I posted? Did you read anything he wrote? Did you even look at the video?

He is the most joyful priest anyone would want to meet. I would love to go to a retreat with this man.

Can you clarify what exactly strikes you as New Age about what he will be doing?
 
Seeker, one of the sessions is ‘Prayer: Getting in touch with the God within’.

Please don’t misconstrue this post. The inquiry is sincere and not meant to imply his obedience or disobedience to the Magisterium. It’s merely that the title of this talk struck me as New Age and I thought someone here may have more knowledge concerning Fr. Berchmans.
