DH has received a possible offer (will find out for sure in about two weeks) to go to grad school and get his masters with a company paying him a little over $1800 per month for two years. He’d be starting his program about the same time our first baby is due (January) so I won’t be able to work. This is an offer he can’t refuse because the only reason he didn’t go to grad school was because of money.
He would like to have some advice from people that have been there, done that, and lived to tell the tale of babies during grad school.
I’d like some advice for how to make a little extra money around the house (that pay is plenty for our bills with a little left over to save, but add tuition on top and it isn’t quite enough), and how to make a tiny one bedroom apartment work for two years. Most especially baby items/ideas that help conserve space would be nice. This is our first so we may be wrong, but we were only planning on getting some nursing clothes for me, a car seat, a stroller, some baby clothes, blankets, a boppy, cloth diapers, and something for baby to sleep on (maybe a pack-n-play or one of those arm’s reach co sleeper things mentioned on another thread).
