Seminarians are generally fun people in my experience.

I guess if your audience is South Central LA or 'da Bronx…it might work. Not my taste, but thanks for sharing.👍

The target audience are the teenagers/youth/young adults.
Try to be bring a teenager on a retreat with just people talking = it’s going to be Boring with a capital B to them. 👍

very good. I always loved fr Arellano. he is been fighting for the Church for quite a while. I know the wolves dont like him. he is used to be on EWTN years back but i dont see him anymore. I missed his teachings. notice how he calls the Mass of new age. good for you father.

I truly think we should be reading Lamentations in our days.

Hope all of them see this and take the hint 🙂

I assure you that seminarians thats on formation right now in Mt. Angel Seminary, Oregon and St Patrick Seminary, Menlo Park , Ca. Not only see this but know this is happening in the Church. Just like Fr Arellano said on your link. Young seminarians are fed up of whats happening to the Church. Their vocations are increased and their resolute to take back the Church is strong. They want to follow the Church Tradition completely, Pope B16 all the way. They want to save their generation and correct past mistakes. Thats why they answer Gods call now. I’ve been fortunate to be around this guys. The future is looking very good. I hope this is also happening in other seminaries.

Well, that is very encouraging. I’ve always felt that the young priests must be the ones to make the difference.

I’ve noticed the younger priests here around town tend to be more reverent praying the Mass and are unhurried.

God Bless all of you. You are in my prayers. 👍

Good stuff, man. Very moving.

Yes, when I get frustrated, I revisit the videos I have bookmarked and find comfort in knowing many clergy have strong faith and are not afraid to speak their minds.

Have you seen this priest ? 🙂

No, i have never seen him. our bishops should follow his examples. he is not afraid much like the Apostles, he preaches the Truth without fear of losing his life. God must be protecting him otherwise he had already been dead. is he an EO priest?

He is a Coptic priest. We need to keep him in our prayers 👍

I thank you for your kind words regarding the seminarians in formation at Mt. Angel and St. Patrick’s. I have had the chance to become acquainted with various seminarians at Mt. Angel since I visited the seminary and abbey at St. Benedict, Oregon with my parish’s parochial vicar. In the end, I have much hope for the future of the Church as a whole, and in particular within the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon since many of the newly ordained priests I have encountered are orthodox and traditional. Lastly, as I am discerning a vocation to the diocesan priesthood, an encounter with orthodox seminarians is very much a helpful sign.

Thank you for discerning, we need more men to discern. It’s a gift from God, He’s calling more men that’s on fire with their vocation. And young men is answering Him!👍

Well, thank you. I hope to see the Church become more prominent in the Northwest as the faith is certainly absent from the public square here in many ways. Quite a difference from the environment I grew-up in the SF Bay Area, but I digress.
