I’m just posting here in the media section to raise awareness of a new site for collecting and discussing Catholic news. It’s a section of Reddit: reddit.com/r/Catholic_News
The reason why posting here is because because /r/CatholicNews is new and in need of commenters/subscribers. I know Catholic Answers has tons of very well informed, orthodox Catholics – which is what all sites are in need of – most of all catholic sites.
It seems it is against policy to post this in the “news” section of CAF since it is not a news article, so I hope posting here is appropriate.
What is Reddit?
“Reddit” itself is a site composed of user-submitted content. There are many different sections or “subreddits” that pertain to all kinds of interests. Submitted content is “upvoted” or “downvoted” by users to gain or lose prominence in the postings. While Reddit as a whole (like much of the internet) is somewhat liberal and even anti-church leaning – all the catholic subreddits I have encountered have been largely orthodox and traditional in tone and content. We could use good men and women there…and there is all kinds of information to be digested and questions that need answering. Please see below links to check it out!
