It’s a great commercial!
Sadly, some of the comments posted after it are horrible. I don’t recommend reading them,. Some people have been brainwashed so much they think overpopulation is the worst thing ever.
Some people lead sad lives and need prayer.
But the commercial is great, it reminds me of the time I poured a liter of molasses over me followed by a box of corn flakes. (I don’t remember it, but have been told.)

Although that seems to be how people are interpreting the video, I think the video is not promoting “having” more babies but rather sending more videos of babies eating Cheerios to them. All the video clips are viral videos. They are saying “send us more cute videos of your kids with our product and we will use it as free advertising”

“Life is more fun, messy, and wonderful with babies around. More babies, please.”

Sorry, to interpret that as meaning “we’d like to see more videos of babies” is to have to ignore the obvious meaning and to read between the lines. That takes a bit of projection, frankly.

In the video itself, the screen that reads MORE BABIES, PLEASE is immediately followed by couples kissing, dancing, and then a young child with a massive UH! OH! expression on his face. If they’re not referencing sex there then that’s just one heck of a coincidence. 😉

Besides, 90 percent of the kids in that video aren’t doing anything whatsoever with Cheerios.

My only problem with the ad is the annoying, not to be ignored (except with the mute button) “music.”😊

Very true that the comments on YouTube are all negative toward babies. It could be blamed on the age of YouTube users, but I am not sure that this ad would only be viewed by a younger age. I do however, think the young are more likely to leave comments there. Still, is this really how people think?

I think they’re saying, “Have more babies, because only a baby will eat our tasteless product!”

Each of my kids, at one or another, has fallen asleep in a high chair putting Cherios in their mouth. Too funny.

The comments section below the video is a cesspit. I find it funny how Western people go on about overpopulation. What they really mean is "there’s too many Africans/Asians/Chinese. Yet they don’t realise that their own aversion to reproduction will mean the demise of their nation and national identity in a few generations.

Youtube commenters are (as a rule) the scum of the internet.
