New Church on my street > "Abundant Life Christian Center"

A new church just opened up on my street, and it used to be a hospital. Has anybody ever heard of “Abundant Life Christian Center” church?

I been digging around the internet and googled:
Abundant Life Christian Center <Name on the building, but can not find much on the internet about this church.

Is this church connected with any denomination?
Probably an independant church.

Funny that this building was a hospital for the body, then was vacant for many years, now a hospital for the soul.

I went to the church a couple weeks ago, and it seemed to be mostly “Entertainment” oriented.

This seems to be a fairly common name used by non-denom groups. I know of a couple of organizations using this name around here.

Funny that this building was a hospital for the body, then was vacant for many years, now a hospital for the soul.

That depends on what this group teaches, honestly.

I went to the church a couple weeks ago, and it seemed to be mostly “Entertainment” oriented.

That is unfortunately not uncommon among non-denoms.

“Abundant” Life = “Material” Life

We have one with that name here. I think it’s an independent,but
follows the “prosperity” …hmmm “theme?”
It really seems to emphasize how the Lord is blessing you if you are wealthy and/or striving to be. The saddest thing is that the
pastor is a former Catholic who is very charismatic and has led
many out of the church.
Someone from that church has put me on their mailing lists and
on their e-mail and I have to then contact them to get me off, only
to be put on again some months later.

There a Protestants Churches poping up like a domino effect everywhere, However Jesus only established One Church the Catholic Church.
