Peace and Good !!!
We are a Catholic Community of Friars and Nuns (Sisters) who want to live ALL the more of the Gospel with the facts and in the Truth.
***We also live with out wanting, asking or touching money, not that it’s bad to touch it, as also the disciples had a safe keeping, but our hearts have greatly desired to live also as Jesus says: “go with out bread, back pack, cane or money” (Cf. Mk 6, 7-8). ***

I have attached a vocational video of the conversion of our founder Friar Volantino.
Still alive, he was a **maneger of a Pub **and used to drive motor bikes at 300 km an hourWe hope you enjoy it…

Peace and Good Paul,
I believe that we need to also explain that as apart of our rule a Little Brother and a Little Sister in our Community may never stay alone together, nor may any friar stay alone with any woman (vicaversa for the sisters)… we must at least be found in three. The above photo may lead some one to think that the friar and the sister were alone, but of course, there was the third party who took the photo.
*And why do we have this rule…? *not only to avoid any possible temptations, but also to leave a good witness, and to avoid tempting anyone in thinking stange things, as one may confuse us for a strange type of marrage or, one could say “ah haaa…! I saw the friar alone in a car with a woman!”… for this reason, even If a woman stops to give one of our frairs a lift, we must politly refuse it.
So then we friars Hitchhike either alone (as Philip in the Acts of Apostles; Cf. Ac 8,26-27) in “in two’s” (if we are two friars together), or in three (two brothers and one sister, or two sisters and one brother), but the sisters can never Hitch alone without a brother (for saftey reasons - the brother acts as a “guardian Angel”).
All this is better explained in the webiste we use: www.poorfriars.net.
The Lord thank you for your recognition of Christs work in us.
Best wishes of Holiness, Friar Antonio.

Pax et Bonum, dear Friar Antonio! (I used to be in the Third Order Franciscans, so I remember this greeting of St. Francis. And I have been to Assisi four times, though not since 1983)

What you’ve stated is very sensible, especially in these times. I’m glad that the brothers watch out for the sisters as ‘guardian angels’ as they travel ‘on the road’.

When I first read about you here on CAF, I expressed concern about hitchhiking. It might be different where you are in Europe (hope that you are not suffering from the brutally cold weather), but here in the USA it’s not legal in some states to hitchhike. My state of New York is one of them.

So, be careful, Friar Antonio, and all your brothers and sisters! You have my admiration and [shall I say it?] my love!

Peace and Good Barb,
My stay in America was short, as I had to return for reasons of visa. As I now wait to apply for a religious visa, and wait for it’s approval, I have recomenced my seminary studies in Italy, where God Willing after two years I will return to Louisiana as a Priest where a Bishop has welcomed us into his diocese.
Pray for us, and God Willing we will find a way around this problem of not being able to Hitchhike in New York so that one day we may even hopefuly visit you!
Best wishes of Holiness,
Friar Antonio.

Peace and Good to you, Friar Antonio!

Thanks for your message. How nice to know that there is a Bishop here in the USA who has welcomed you and your community to his diocese! Louisiana has been called ‘The Most Catholic State in the US’. It was settled by the French, then the Spaniards moved in before it became part of the United States through the ‘Louisiana Purchase’. [a little American history lesson here 😃 ]

Were you able to go to New Orleans? There is a well-known Marian shrine in the city, called Our Lady of Prompt Succor. Another shrine is to Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos, a German Redemptorist.

Well, that would be pretty cool if you were to come to New York to visit me! Just don’t do it in the winter, all right? 😉 😃 We’ll see what happens the next two years, Deo Volente.

Peace and good!,
Yes I had the chance on several occasions ti visit New Orleans, but unfortunatly I never made it to the shrines. God willing one day apon our return we shall visit them.

I believe your order is one of the ones that my eleven-year-old brother said “looks really cool;” he’s praying about becoming a religious one day.

Peace and Good !
That for us is a beautiful sign, as it’s written in the Bible: “Even through the mouths of children, or babes in arms You afferm (oh Lord) You power against Your enemies”… (Cf. Ps8,2) Let him know that we will pray also for him, that he discover with certainty in his life what Gods Will is for him (what ever it may be).

Will someone explain this to me:
Decreto di regolamentazione dei gruppi detti “Piccolo frati e suore di Gesu e Maria”

and found the following at other forum
English translation

less than two years have passed since de benevolent ad experimentum of so-called "Piccollo brothers and sisters of Jesus and

Mary" received into the Episcopal Diocese taxed by decree in May 2008. Since that date many negative signals in respect of

that group are presented to us, and various other parts of the Diocese and the Diocese of Itallie and by some bishops and by

“some” members, who during the year past have created a new iztitutione with the approval of the diocesan of Lamezia Terme.

However, despite this, we have been waiting patiently, hoping that everything returns to normal in that group seeing some good

and good will, at least in some of the components

found

that we were surprised and deeply saddened in recent times for acts that are degenerate, as the tip of the iceberg, in the

Cathedral on Sunday 28 February at 13.00, ahead of many people with shouts and tumult that the Church certainly does not

deserve Caltanissetta. From this hubbub we are deeply marked out in pain: Bishops, priests, the so-called “Flyers” and the

various families that do not yet give peace.

occurred

that there is a general discontent among the people for the way they are recruited as vocations, a way that had not been

equaled in the history of the Church. We need everything, using behavior grossly illcciti as plagiarism, threats, announcement of

punishment, misuse of the word of God detached from its biblical context … with pressure and behavior contrary to theology

and pastoral practice of the Church.

is not given the slightest vocational discernment, violating the conscience, binding them in an iron flyer initiator the trial, which

looks like a new St. Francis, a prophet of the new millennium. Resulting consequences and disorders of the psyche to libel,

which are among the most serious diseases in the opinion of several doctors and psychiatrists in the city.

Considered

that this is a reprehensible conduct that smacks of impropriety and bragging to people, but also against the authority

established; know of disobedience to the rules repeated several times by the bishop and communicated personally to the same

flyer.

Wishing

For our part not to mortify the Spirit, but to grasp the obvious lack of orthodoxy and proceed freely, “without law”, with initiatives

that are the negation of the interior life of humility and poverty of the Gospel itself.

Evaluated

the serious situation created and that none of us could predict, with a heavy atmosphere of suffering and fragmentation of the

Church that the diocese can no longer tolerate. After obtaining the unanimous opinion of the Council convened Presibiterale

today because it expresses in this regard.

Establishes and decrees

that the group can no longer depend on flyer, but if I want to redeem themselves for the future will have to strictly abide by the

following mandatory and unconditional provisions:
  1. The Bishop will appoint a commission of five priests, will be followed by groups of men or women - improperly called "Little
Brothers and Sisters of Jesus and Mary" - who are living together
  1. Among these five priests, the Bishop appointed the Superior, which directly and solely responsible for the aforementioned
groups, as well as direct referent of the bishop.
  1. At the top are to refer those who lead the common life and he must give absolute and unconditional obedience.
  2. The initiator of these groups - called “Flyer” - will have to suspend all relations with all others, including so-called “allies”, at
least for the next three years.
  1. To this end flyer must leave the Diocese for a place - indicated by the Bishop - for reflection and personal training, under the
guidance of a spiritual director.
  1. Those who have already started living together may continue to perform according to the regulation will be prepared by
Priests commission appointed by the Bishop.
  1. all those who have been accepted among the groups of men or women of common life, from the month of January 2009, must
leave this group, divest any kind of dress and return to their families.
  1. As long as there will be no legal recognition by the competent ecclesiastical authority, any “promises” given above are not
recognized let alone be considered binding on members. Therefore, remembering that the vote and delivered before a higher

authority and as part of a celebration litugica, all are freed from any constraint a religious, strictly understood.
  1. you can no longer allow anyone to take up vocational discernment when and if the Bishop will give official recognition to the
group.
  1. and prohibited the so-called “little brothers and sisters” to leave the city of Caltanissetta for activities of evangelization or
the allies to follow other cities or other dioceses.
  1. For the so called "allies"establishes the possibility to meet only once a month for a prayer meeting, only in the church of San
Domenico in Caltanissetta, without any catechesis by so-called "little brothers and sisters. " These are forbidden to meet with

“allies” in their homes or in places other than the church of San Domenico.
  1. Those who are living together are instituting a fund from which to draw for the needs of all members, including the
installation of telephone and spirit of true poverty must relinquish all electronic and digital, which at present are said to be

trustees and not owners.
  1. Those who attend the Theological Institute, for those who accept these disposiozioni can continue to do so until the end of
this Academic Year, after that will have to continue their studies at other academic centers.
  1. E 'is binding and must remove from the website any reference to the following: constitution, regulation, vocational
orientation, consecrated laity, bishops who support, catechesis and various miracles, photos with the bishops and so on.
  1. If these provisions are accepted - in full and without adding to it - you start experimentally for a period of three years, but
only with the members before January 2009. At the end of this period we will assess what to do. It is obvious that each

provision, and seen as strictly binding on all members of community life.

Given in Caltanissetta on March 3, 2010, the seventh year of the episcopate

i think “Flyer” refers to the founder. I hope Friar Antonio will explain this matter for us.

Fra Antonio, what diocese is your community attached to now, since you are no longer part of Caltanissetta?

Fra Antonio, what diocese is your community attached to now, since you are no longer part of Caltanissetta?
how could that be? they are not even allowed to leave Caltanissetta?

and I wonder if things has changed, since this is last March 2010.

I was talking about the Diocese, not the city.

This is only part of the Bishop’s document, recognizing the “Verified” problems:

"that there is a general discontent among the people for the way they have recruited vocations, a way that has not been equalled in the history of the Church. They serve all using gravely illicit: like plagiarism, threats, announcement of punishments, distorted use of the word of God detached from its biblical context, with pressures and behaviors contrary to the theology and the pastoral practices of the Church.

There is no minimal recourse to vocational discernment, violating the consciences, binding hard and faste to the judgement of the founder Valentino, who presents himself as a new Saint Francis, as a prophet of the new millennium. Resulting consequences and problems at the level of the psyche that are among the most grave diseases in the opinion of different doctors and psychiatrists of the city…"

I had heard from a friend in Reggio Calabria that some of the men and women were again travelling and looking for a new diocese, which made me ask Fra Antonio my question. Hope this helps.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
If it’s written here in this negative decree that since May 2008 there only exist a general discontent, why is it that from May 2008 right up to the Decree of the 3rd of March 2010 this negative decree did not also list all these positive signs that here follow ?.. that is the 100 positive lay letters, 12 positive priests letters and 2 positive bishops letters, including one from the same Bishop who wrote the decree ? (of course all these things I’ve attached for you here below) – letters that say the complete opposite to the negative decree ?!.. From this, one can scientifically understand how reliable the moral “misunderstanding” of this decree is, that does not correspond with the truth of the facts and the morality that Lumen Gentium 25 requests. These things written in the decree could only be written for nothing else than an obvious distraction of the author, nothing more. In fact, for example, have you not read the story of Saint Mary MacKillop who was declared heretical by an Australian Bishop but who now rather, only a few months ago in Rome at St. Peter’s square was declared a Saint ? Therefore, let’s reflect, it’s clear that these “misunderstandings and distractions” often happen in the Church and who always ends up paying the price are those who want to became Saints, with deeds and in the truth. Therefore, I have attached the above listed positive signs from May 2008 up until the date of the negative decree (since I’d stored all this info before all these things had happened when there wasn’t any password or any omission in the website as there is now, for the fact that the Little Friars do not want to degrade the image of the author of the decree ).
Code:
Therefore, if you want the password, you can ask the *Little Friars* for it through their website: ([www.poorfriars.net](www.poorfriars.net)). Now I tell you even more so, rather, after the negative decree, they’ve been officially received in little groups in 6 different dioceses of the world (with more than 20 positive Episcopal letters – all of them after the negative decree - that testify to all of this and also to the profound spirit of ecclesial communion of this community. These letters however, at the moment they don't publish for matters of diplomacy and protection from some “evil tongues” who are putting them through all sorts of difficulties). Therefore, for example, as one of their very recent videos testifies, especially in the last part of the video, where an Archbishop speaks.. they’ve been welcomed into Latin America, into the United States, into Africa, and into 3 Dioceses of Italy.. with these bishops who’ve welcomed them also knowing of the obvious "misunderstanding" scientifically demonstrated. In this video though, as I again repeat, these *Little ones of Jesus and Mary* don't precisely show where they are, at least for the time being, to avoid being again disturbed. Therefore, let's not forget the above scientifical-chronological evidence of the "misunderstanding" that I have attached below, as Jesus himself said, *« on the day of judgment people will render an account for every unfounded word they speak... »* ( Mt 12, 36ss ) and not only Jesus says this, but also the Church, in which its Canon Law expresses like so: *« No one is permitted to illegitimately harm the good reputation which a person possesses nor violate the right of any person to protect his or her own privacy »* (CCL, Can. 220).
PS
For a greater guarantee know that in these letters the Bishops are also in agreement with the founder in having all of them study, and for the major part, all in Sacred Theology and licenses of various specializations, and even more, as their report cards testify, with high grades, which demonstrates beyond the “misunderstanding”, their profound and elevated Catholic – theological orthodoxy.

as for me OBEDIENCE to the Bishop to whom you profess obedience is important.

I understand that the community is undergoing a painful process. I too have experience very similar with that. I do not want to go into details here, but I know where the friars are coming from.

If this is from the Holy Spirit, the community will obey even if it makes no sense, even if it’s hard, even if it’s painful. Like St. Therese, making excuses is a no-no.

If the Lord wants your community to continue, He will make ways; nothing could stop you then. But as for now, He would be more pleased if you obey. Jesus was obedient unto death.

It seems to me that if they have another Bishop/Cardinal that is willing to cannonically form their group than that is perfectly allowed as that statement would be for that community. The only time something like this would not apply would be if the Order was cannonically formed under the Vatican and the Vatican had been the one to disband them. Someone with more canon law experience on orders please correct me if I am wrong. Brother - who is your episcopate now?
