New Ducktales!?

The first episode pilot is available on youtube. The Disney Afternoon was a huge part of my childhood and as a spoiled thirtye-something neckbeard now, I was delighted to see this.

AND I LOVED IT.

Anyone else catch it? I’m curious about anyone’s thoughts. A quick search on youtube will find the first episode for free.
 
The theme song from the first Ducktales is forever burned in my memory, since my son is also in his mid-thirties now, and that show was on every afternoon. I’d heard they were bringing back a new version, but I haven’t seen it yet.

I actually have never seen it. It was after my time, and before my kids
 
Oh man I loved this show, I remember going to the cinema for a Ducktales movie about a genie in a bottle as well!

Great that they’re making a new show. I only saw the intro, I do prefer the warmer style of the original series at first glance.

Yeah, the new show’s aesthetic is more in line with the comic artwork done in ye olden tyme.
