New Evangelization effort!

Several months ago there was a thread about a new evangelization effort that went off into different forums online to explain and defend the faith, etc. This is an update of that, we have a new server and we’re looking for recruits. 🙂
 
You don’t have to be an apologetics or Scripture whiz, just being interested or willing to help is enough, believe me. There’s a lot of anti-Catholicism out there on the 'net and most of it is due to ignorance and people being afraid or unwilling to stand up for the Faith. It can seem like an overwhelming task at times, but that’s exactly why we organize into a crusade- we strengthen eachother. None of us work alone.

Like Bishop Sheen said, “There are not over a hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church. There are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church, which is of course, quite a different thing.”

That’s sort of our guiding principle. Send a PM to me or Mels if you’re interested in helping! 🙂

Nope, this is the new Crusade for Jesus Christ, you are most likely thinking of an older one that this would have emerged from, which has since finished and is now no longer active.

We would very much like for you (and everyone available for that matter!) to come join us in the battle for Souls :knight2:
All are invited; so if you’ve a basic knowledge of the Holy Church and what She teaches, and want to share this with others, others who have been very misinformed when it comes to this - then become a Soldier for Christ.
We’ll be waiting for you. 👍

One of the worst of all “witnesses” for Christ…

Well is this still the accepted practice?
 
I guess I’m in. But I have found some people who just don’t want to know the truth. I just ended a 'friendship" because of that. We got along great as long as the discussion didn’t turn toward what we believed. Well, she decided that wasn’t good enough. Just about everything she believed about Catholicism came from one of those groups that broke away over disagreement with Vatican 2.

One thing that she kept on about was that they had written that the Catholic church changed from the Sabbath to Sunday worship on purpose, knowing they were breaking the commandment about keeping the Sabbath. It’s hard to put it all in here, I wish I could. I’d love to know how to better discuss with people like her. If possible.

I still kind of ache from the disagreement. Not just about disagreeing, but from the break it caused between us.

I am so excited about finding you guys. I am blogging on the William Layne Craig sight www.reasonablefaith.org subject: Pope Benedict on Justification by faith thread.

As a NUG (New Useless Guy) apologist, I find myself in some material fallacies like being “suckered into” subject not relevant to the current discussion. I have used and copied many top apologist: Peter Kreeft, Scott Hahn to name a couple. I have come to the conclusion that I want to address other more important benefits of Catholicism; e.g., The Mass, the absolute worse thing to happen to those of us who left our Mother the Church and to Protestants who are “truly saved” is the divorce from the Mass. What a shame.

Never the less, to end this blog I have gotten the data from Karl Keating and a number of apologist to answer the below blog. Can you help? No, please!!! Can you help???

My responses as you can see are 1. No, 2. Hell, 3. Yes He made a statement about Mary and I spent a lot of time on Mary: “Off track” I know.
