Columbia University researchers conducted a study with 12,000 teenagers and found that a whopping 88 percent of those who made a chastity vow did have sex before marriage and were 20 percent less likely to use a condom than teens who hadn’t taken the pledge. hmmmmm. maybe that idea of chastity rings needs a closer scrutinizing.
I don’t think the chastity ring is what is making teenagers have sex before marriage. If the reason to scrutinize is because they don’t use condoms…that is another thread but has already been addressed in the previous post.88 percent of those who made a chastity vow did have sex before marriage and were 20 percent less likely to use a condom than teens who hadn’t taken the pledge. hmmmmm. maybe that idea of chastity rings needs a closer scrutinizing.
