New Gallup Poll: Because of Obama, More Americans Still Pro-Life on Abortion

Washington, DC – Following on the heels of a survey showing a majority of Americans calling themselves for the first time in over a decade, a new Gallup survey out today shows more Americans say they are pro-life on abortion than “pro-choice.”

The poll found a 47 percent plurality of Americans say they are pro-life compared with 46 percent who say they support abortion.

I’m happy more people are calling themselves pro-life. Hopefully that trend will continue and we can end abortion, as well as other things like embryonic stem cell research and euthanasia. Hopefully all these pro-life people will help oppose Obama’s “health care” agenda and insist that abortion and other such things be excluded.
 
I’ve always felt that there were just as many pro-life people as pro-choice. The real problem however is in the government. So long as people vote on the economy instead of life issues, abortion will never be illegal in this country.
