New Game--Bible Hangman!

I thought that we might try a new Bible game.
Here’s the first verse:

If you use a whole bible verse, then just about any letter of the alphabet will be in it. (Since you get 10 chances in Hangman, your word has to have at most 16 distinct letters of the alphabet otherwise it is impossible to lose).

Oh well. My guess is E.

I always played hangman with 5 chances, instead of 10, so it’s a little harder. You’re right, though, this won’t be the most challenging game. But you do also have to guess the number of the verse, if that will make it a bit more interesting.

I’m not sure any kind of Hangman is an appropriate game to play. What happens if nobody gets the answer? Will you show someone being hanged? Maybe you have called it something else!
