A new group has just been started, The Fasting Group.

Membership is open to all, whether you fast regularly or just once in a while, or support those who fast, or are simply curious.

Heaven calls on us to fast (and make other sacrifices) for the conversion of sinners and to atone for sin.

Let’s fast for the Poor Souls in Purgatory. Let’s pray for peace in the Middle East and the world. Let’s fast for conversions.

What a fantastic idea. I seem to nearly always be pregnant or nursing, so food fasting is out for me, but I’ll be following the group for suggestions of other fasts 🙂

Thanks everyone for sharing the link. was going to link it myself but I’ve been beaten to it 👍

Perhaps during the month of Ramadhan we could fast & sacrifice for the conversion of Muslims to the True Faith 🙂
