Hey Sarah! I am back on CAF! Just got finished eating lunch. ANyway, you have a booth in Soulard?? What is it? I can honestly say I have never been to Soulard!! I have driven by it but never stopped…I heard they have great deals on fruits and veggies, is that so?? Where in STL did you grow up, if you don’t mind me asking. I am a Florissant native. Then St. Charles, then Kirkwood, and now my fave Lincoln county. We love it out here it is so country!!! 😃 😃

I lived in st. charles for 18 years and then south city for 5 1/2 years. were is lincoln is it south??? I would love to have some land for my kid to run in. talk to you soon.😃
 
So right now do you live in South City?? Lincoln County is North. Hwy 40 west, then it goes past Lake Saint Louis, then it crosses over Hwy 70 and turns into Hwy 61, then you keep going to Lincoln County. We are not on land right now, we are in a neighborhood. However, our ulitmate goal is to build a home on land. We love our parish out here. My husband is living in Denver because his work transferred us. But now, he is trying to find a new job in STL because he is not too crazy about Denver and our house has not sold so the kids and I can’t move out there until then. So, last week we took our house off of the market since we weren’t getting showings but he still has no job hopes here. But one of the main reasons I did not want ot move is because A) the housing here is affordable but in Denver we could not have a house like we do now. B) I love our parish C) I like how it is so rural out here, although growing

Do you have a house in South City? I have a brother that just moved to St. Louis Hills and one of my friends just moved to the Chippewa neighborhood last week. But me? I am just not a city person…

I live on chippewa!!! That must be hard not to live without your main man:( I’m going to like to move from our church. our house in on the market right now but nothing is moving at all. hope you can be with the whole family soon.
 
okay, finally back home from a long day of going all around the big STL, ha, ha!! Went to the Greek festival off of Manchester and hwy 270, such great Greek food!!! My friend just moved last week to a road off of Chippewa and they will be in St. Joan of Arc parish, I think that’s what she said.
Anyway, where are you all looking at moving to? Oh, I forgot (silly me!) Jackson or Rolla, right? Do you all have family in those 2 areas?
 
Have you prayed a St. Joseph Novena for the sale of your home? There are a couple different novenas to pray…
 
Did you get rained on??? They say that you put St. Joseph in your yared and your house will sell fast. dont know how well that works. we went out to Our Lady of the Snows yesterday. It was great until the kids got tryied. We were pray all day for our house to sell. if we dont move to rolla or jackson we are moving to a biger house here in st. louis.
 
No we did not get rained on. It started drizzling for a minute when we went outside to eat. We almost went to the Shrine of St. Joseph downtown yesterday but didn’t make it there. We were going to go pray for my husbands job situation. I read that burying the statue is “superstitious” but who knows. There is a thread on here about it

Hi Sean! I was like you, I always would come on here and look around at threads but never joined…until one day, my hubby (mirror mirror, you will see him a LOT o here) told me to just join in. So here I am and very glad I did join! I feel like I have met so many wonderful Catholics thanks to CAF, including your wife!! So, if you don’t mind me asking, what made the 2 of you decide that Catholicism was for you? I always am amazed at how each person comes to the Faith in a different way…
