I have just started a new job that pushes me way outside of my comfort zone. Please pray that I am able to keep my anxiety symptoms under control and persevere through each day. I appreciate you all.

Christ said to His loved ones: I am with you, fear not, be not anxious. May all of us, then, be confident that in the trials and crosses of our lives that You, O Lord, will be our constant companion. Whenever we cannot stand, You will carry us lovingly in Your arms.

May we have no fear of what may happen tomorrow. For the same Eternal Father Who cares for us today will take care of us tomorrow and everyday of our lives. You, O Lord, will either shield us from suffering or give us strength to bear it patiently. May we be at peace, then and put aside all useless thoughts, anxieties, and worries. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Praying for your intentions. Be Not Afraid; He is with you always.

Our Father Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Remember oh most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence I fly unto thee oh Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Oh Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray and do thou oh Prince of the Heavenly Host by the power of God cast into Hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

I browsed your previous messages, and I not certain if this was addressed, but I encourage you to work with a doctor or therapist to help manage your anxiety.

Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility and
Mother of Hope,
look upon me as I start
a new job.

Teach my searching heart to know
that God’s love for me
is unchanging and that the suffering
which He may will for me now
is to draw me closer to Him.

Let thy gentle peace and His —
which the world cannot give —
be always with me, that I may
be sanctified: and then:
I beseech thee
for the grace to bring this
peace to others.

Jesus, My Savior, I give myself
entirely to Thee through Mary:

Our Lady of Mental Peace,
pray for me!

Through Christ Our Lord,
Amen.

Thank you everyone! I just have to take it a day at a time. I do meet a therapist and take meds, but it is hard to explain how severe it gets during times of transition and stress.

Prayer for Starting a New Job
Take my life into Your hands, at last, and do whatever You want with it. I give myself to Your love and mean to keep on giving myself to Your love — rejecting neither the hard things nor the pleasant things You have arranged for me. It is enough for me that You have glory. Everything You have planned is good. It is all love.
The way You have laid open before me is an easy way, compared with the hard way of my own will which leads back to Egypt, and to bricks without straw.
If you allow people to praise me, I shall not worry. If You let them blame me, I shall worry even less, but be glad. If You send me work I shall embrace it with joy and it will be rest to me because it is Your will. And if You send me rest, I will rest in You. Only save me from myself. Save me from my own, private, poisonous urge to change everything, to act without reason, to move for movement’s sake, to unsettle everything You have ordained.
Let me rest in Your will and be silent. Then the light of Your joy will warm my life. Its fire will burn in my heart and shine for Your glory. This is what I live for. Amen, amen.
— From Sign of Jonas, by Thomas Merton.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
John 14:27

Just wanted to make sure you were not going through this alone. 👍

Praying that the Lord may strengthen you with all necessary graces.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
