New Job, expected baby (#2), new house

Our baby is due January 12th, but my wife has had some pretty strong and frequent contractions today, so I’m thinking the baby will come earlier. My new job starts tomorrow. My new house will be build around June 25th.

I know I’ve been greatly blessed, and I should be greatful, and I am, but the truth is, I’m also totally stressed out, and I could use a few prayers to avoid a nervous breakdown. :o

I understand completely my brother. I will pray for you and all fathers who provide for their families.

I began the Novena of St Joseph yesterday and will include you in today’s prayer.

Thanks for the prayers. I should have thought of the St. Joseph novena myself. I attribute my first job to this novena and his intercession.

Thank you all for your prayers. My first day at my new job went very well, and my nerves are back under control. My wife’s contractions are still coming strong, so I guess I should be geting our suitcase ready. 🙂 Deeep breaths…deeep breaths…

I will keep you in my prayers. I just had a new baby girl and the hardest part for me is the lack of sleep, but then I think this is nothing compared to what God has done. Then instead of thinking about how hard it is, I think how thankful I am and the stress just kinda goes away.

My son was born January 15th after only three hours of labour. He is a healthy and strong boy. God is good. 🙂
