new job?

My “work wife” of 20 years got a new job about 3 months ago. Great company(Very bad thing happened where we used to work together. I am still at the same place. Boss should have taken up for her but sluffed it off. She quit on the spot) T They had an opening so she talked me up. Supervisor of that department called me. I went in, interviewed with 3 people. Heard nothing for 3 weeks. I figured I “blew” the interview. Got a call today. They wanna see me Monday @ 15:00 for another interview. “Work wife” said they have not interviewed anyone else & she heard through the grapevine that they think I am the one. It could mean an emmidiate 20% increase doing the same thing I do now + about another 20% over the year in bonuses and THAT is assuming I am a slouch. Some folks almost double their salery. Please say a prayer for me gang :highprayer: I want this job so bad I can taste it.
 
I’m not sure what a ‘work wife’ is, but I ask God’s blessings and protection for her. God bless her for speaking supportively for you.

I ask the Lord to take care of your welfare in all matters, including regarding this work position.

A “work spouse” would be someone of the opposite sex that you work with and have a very close relationship with. No sex, no romance :tsktsk: but you trust each other extreamly. You look out for each other. When you are fighting EVERYBODY at the company stays out of your way :slapfight: & will not intervene. They let the 2 of you work it out & you always do because you are the best of friends :flowers: My work wife & her husband & I & my wife go to dinner together about once a month or so.
