New Mass Texts Music Settings

So, how many of you who have the duty of preparing for the changes this Advent have selected a new setting?

What have you found that is good?..(Links please if they are available)

Has your parish or Diocese created a “plan” for implementation? Please share what’s happening in your area, especially if you are responsible for more than one choir at your parish.

In Canada the CCCB commissioned three settings and that’s what the diocesan music person has been promoting - no mention of the chant setting in the Missal itself.

The choir had a workshop last September but nothing has been said in the parish about the new text, save a few tidbits I included in the parish bulleting last year before I changed jobs.

I have noticed though that Fr. is no longer using “Christ has died, Christ is risen …” as the memorial acclamation. I suspect that they were advised to cut that one out at the diocesan gathering they had last fall. Stopping its use now means that it won’t be missed when the new translation is promulgated in 6 months.
