Personally, I like it a lot. The more formal (and accurate) language forces me to slow down and think a little about what is actually being said, and that doesn’t hurt anyone to do. Additionally, the more formal language feels more appropriate in addressing the Lord of the universe, as opposed to the checkout clerk at the supermarket. It seems to me that it is the older Mass, just polished up to a brilliant shine. That’s nice.
