New Megan Kelly show on Sunday night

Did anyone see the interview tonight with Putin on Megan Kelly’s new show?

I felt kind of sorry for her. He really shut her down several times practically mocking
her and criticizing her at the nature of her questions. He was obviously
irritated with her and seemed insulted. She made me think of the Ugly American.
I guess she thought she would get a breaking story before Comey’s testimony.
It was painful to watch.

This is NBC’s answer to 60 Minutes. Two other stories followed the interview with Putin which were done by different journalists.

I wasn’t very impressed.

No,I didn’t watch and no I am not I’m impressed with Megan Kelly overall.
 
I only watched a small part of it. My own personal feeling about it was that Putin would never answer truthfully anyway, so why listen in the first place.
 
People don’t become world leaders by being pushovers in a debate. You can’t send someone with a knife to a gun fight.

+1. She was clearly in over her head. He was both irritated and insulted by her one
line of questioning. She didn’t get the scoop she was hoping for.

I agree. I think she is highly overrated and NBC might be realizing highly overpaid!
 
No I haven’t seen it yet. I just started watching it on youtube. Man, Putin went hard in the paint against her. loooool. Putin is the most astute politician alive. Say what you want, but he’s something to see.

I’m glad to see Ms. Kelly no longer has to pretend to be conservative. It’s probably better for her psyche.

Yes she would have been pleased to have uncovered anything to hurt Trump!
Putin stayed 5 steps ahead of her.

At least she stood up to the incompetent buffoon. If more people in “conservative” radio and TV had done so instead of sucking up to Trump, we would have a qualified Republican nominee.

I don’t think so.The mere fact that Trump was the last man standing,not because of his insults but n spite of them,is a pretty good indicator that the electorate was looking for a change from the. same old same old. Just to be clear I have said more than once during the election cycle thatvTrumo was my very last choice.I found his behavior very off putting.Also,I didn’t have a clear idea of which of the remains twelve candidate,I was enthused about.
Having said that,I am pleased over all with what he has managed to accomplish thus far considering he is getting resistance not only from the Dems but from many within his own party as well.

You mean like Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio.
If he is such an incompetent buffoon, how was he able to beat Hillary?
The democrats assured republicans they couldn’t have chosen a better candidate for
Hillary to run against. The election was supposed to have been a slam dunk for Hillary.

Kelly is certainly struggling to get interest in her interview show with controversial guests.

Next is up is Alex Jones. Wonder what wacky conspiracy theories that show may drum up.

I forgot I had checked his birthday the other day. I am actually older than Putin!
We were born the same year - 1952. I was born in February and he was born in October!

So were Sharon Osbourne, Christopher Reeve, David Hasselhof and Douglas Adams (according to this site).

But getting back to Megan Kelly, I say give her a chance. It’s just the beginning of her show’s life.
